Hey. I'm nick. I'm a nineteen year-old guy from Long Island. My interests are... varied.
I like music. Lots. I hope to eventually get some sort of degree in music and become a theory teacher. That would be ideal.
I also like some other very boy-type-things. I seem to make a sport out of picking on people, but I hope nobody takes it too seriously. It's just my nature to poke fun at others. It's strange, in a way, because I tend to nitpick at myself, as well.
I also like video games, which as far as I can tell, few people don't like.
I like to skate. The kind where there are actual wheels strapped to your feet though, not skate BOARDing. Like, roller blades, or ice skating. I like that, even though I'm not too terribly good at it.
I like writing. Poetry, mostly, but occasionally I'll write little stories with tiny twisted plots, mostly in the humor department.
I love making people laugh. There's nothing more empowering than a choir of laughter, and knowing that you're the cause.
I like typing. Even if I'm not writing anything important, or I'm typing for somebody else, I just enjoy it. I think it's the sound that the keys make. It's relaxing, like popping knuckles or something like that.
I like walking. If the the temperature isn't preposterously cold, anyway. I like to just walk without any real destination. It's almost always better in somebody's company. I think walking really opens the mind to epiphany. For me it does, anyway.
I like water. In any way, really. Whether it's a running river in upstate New York that I'm passing while going somewhere else, or if it's my shower in the morning. The sound and feel of water just puts me in a good mood.
On a similar note, I like the beach. Swimming, walking, driving near it, being near the beach is just awesome. It's just too bad that I'm really ridiculously pale.
I'm a heartbreaker.
I like Star Wars. Like, I really fucking like Star Wars. I think it freaks people out, sometimes. I have instant distaste for anybody that hasn't seen any or all of the Star Wars movies. Also, I don't discriminate between generations of Star Wars movies; Episodes 1-3 are just as good as 4-6.
I like to sing.
I'm a godless heathen.
I prefer cartoons to any other form of television, unless Star Wars is on t.v., or some other really good movie. Pretty much any cartoon will hold my interest. If I had to choose cartoon preferences, the top would probably consist of Futurama, The Venture Bros., Trigun, FLCL, Cowboy Bebop, and Chowder. That's all that really comes immediately to mind.
With sparse few exceptions, I don't like to watch movies more than once. I get bored.
I'm a filthy slob.
I like arguing about super powers.
I tend to make plans with several people for the same day and time and then forget about all of them and fall asleep or some stupid thing.
Pokemon is overrated.
Halo is overrated.
