Rebel Creek was first conceived early in February 2006 . During a jam session at the Aldridge Tavern Walsall, Nick and Paul saw Mike Kingston sing and knew Mike would be the perfect singer to front the new band. When approached with the idea of forming a country rock band Mike said "country, I love country" and the core of the band was forged.Several guitarists, steel players, fiddlers and drummers passed through the band before Dave(Fingers)Reade a fantastic keyboard player was found. Dave is now a very valued member of the band.The last but not least member to join the band is Steve (CrashBash)Coot.Steve is a rock solid drummer with a superb feel for country music. Steve is the latest addition to Rebel Creek and completes the line up

Rebel Creek have several sets, ranging from fully acoustic to blistering hot electric. Paul's electric and acoustic performances are outstanding, Dave's honky tonk piano rings out, whilst Steve's rock solid drumming is the heart of the band and add to that Mad Dogs stunning vocals and you have a recipe for one hot country rock band. Their debut album Born to Take the Blame released Summer 2009
