Bucks Fortean Society

About Me

Bucks Fortean Society is a regular meeting point for anybody interested in unusual or alternative subjects. Each event is headed by a knowledgeable speaker who introduces a topic which is then discussed amongst the group. This is a free event, please bring your own drinks. Nibbles are provided, of course.
The meetings currently take place in our home, which is about 5 mins walk from Aylesbury Train Station. Please email us for more information about the next talk.

We began life as Aylesbury Fortean Society, but during a meeting on 3rd November, it was agreed that we should become Bucks Fortean Society to better reflect our demographic.

    Local Investigation Groups

  • Ghost 2 Ghosts

  • This group mostly investigates hauntings, but has the ability and enthusiasm to tackle most paranormal phenomena. It is a large group that has three main organisers with many more specialist members and other helpers. This means that the group approaches each issue from several angles rather than with one hypothesis in mind. Visited, vetted and recommended by BFS. Visit: http://www.ghost2ghosts.co.uk/ or contact us and we will put you in touch.

    Local Shops

  • Ruby Moon

  • Castle Street, High Wycombe
Chock-a-block with alternative stuff. A bit like my house, but you can buy things! What more can you ask for?
  • Gaea Crystals

  • Cobblers Hill (Cobblershill), Wendover.
Recently moved from Aylesbury town centre to share the premises of a garden centre, and boasting good car parking space. For the discerning and up-market enthusiast of pagan items.
BFS would like to thank both Gaea and Ruby Moon for their support.
