Band Members: Pietro G. Balello was born in 1986. He got in touch with music when he was 13 years old, taking his first piano lessons. Soon he got bored with classic music and started learning guitar as self-taught. But his passion was led by his cousins (two of them are bass player too) to the bass.
He started his first band at school, called Kings of Dream (formerly Madhouse) which was a Deep Purple tribute. This experience lasted three years.
After that he had a call from Davide, asking him to join Orion, which later became the official Metallica Italian tribute band.
Then he joined fuXedo, an Electric Six tribute, which lasted one year but its destiny's still uncertain. Here he plays keys and guitar.
Synapsis is his favourite project, which can describe better his way of making music. There he mainly sings, though he produces all the keys too. He's the main composer (along with the guitar twins) and writes all the lyrics.
They recorded an EP, called Awakenings.
After some months spent togheter with Raising Fear, formerly guitar player Yorick asked him to join the Helreidh reunion, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the release of Memòires, their first release.
In the end of 2007, as DJ Lello, he started producing some electro-trance-tech-house, using tool such as Reason from Propellerheads, and is starting, with Mr FonZ, a DJ duo, called Stecca & Squadra.
He's studied bass with some of the créme artist and teacher in Italy: Cristiano Da Ros (degreed at Berkley's Institute), Roberto Pascucci (Paola e Chiara's bassman), Alex Stornello (MMI leader), Stefano Gnesato (Alex's bassman). He spent two years studing singing with Vittorio Zambon.
At this time he owns a Carvin LB76 (6-strings bass), a Chapman Stick (10-strings), a Washburn N1 (electric guitar), some classic guitars, an Ibanez mandulin, an original Dutar. He's amplified by a Marshall Dynamic Bass System and a Marshall VBC 412. He usually uses DR string for bass and D'Addario for electric guitar.
