As of 9 am Thursday the 14th of February 2008, Messy Leads Entertainment regrets to inform you that this years Sunsets On Summer festival has had to be postponed indefinitely due to, Not only the Lack of Community and Business Support as written in 'The Bendigo Advertiser', But unavoidable Permitting and Supply Issues on our end.
With this in mind, Messy Leads is overwhelmed with disappointment that it has come to this point, we struggled until the last hour to continue on, but we are not willing to put our suppliers, the local community and artists at such a great a risk without the guarantee of putting on a full blown / High quality music festival that regional Victoria has been waiting for.
At this point Messy Leads Entertainment and its partners reassure you that the Sunsets On Summer Festival Brand is not over and we will strive to continue on, and be back bigger and better in the very near future (NEXT YEAR). We thank you so much for your committed support and we can not apologize more profusely for such late notice. Messy Leads Entertainment is committed and will continue to support local industry and the community. Its time to roll with the punches and get back down to the core of our business Regional Community Entertainment. Information regarding "pre-sale" ticket refunds will be issued this early this week, and full refunds will be made available to all who purchased tickets.Keep your eyes out for 'Some' Artists that featured on the bill, to be playing small shows around Bendigo over the next few weeks. Sunsets On Summer Festival is outdoor/Indoor summer event, * open from 10:30am until 11pm * Fully licensed All ages Event * No BYO * Valid photo ID must be shown to gain entry to Licensed Area's * WE ALL GET TO PLAY rain, hail or shine * public transport has our thumbs up as the best way to get to the event/Bendigo * The promoter reserves the right to vary acts, running times and date of event * The promoter / venue reserve the right of admission.
