The Story of Lore and his Powers:Updated: April 9th 2008.
Well. You know who I am and if not - I suppose you humans are even less intelligent than I'd previously given you credit for. *Chuckles then smirks* I'll talk slow - for all you lowly humans shall I? Just incase you have difficulty following what I'm saying. Oh.. *holds up an index finger.* And don't get any ideas about asking me to clarify anything. I don't like repeating myself. Understood? *Pauses.* Good. Now - I am an android. A Soong-type Model to be exact. I was constructed before Often Wrong moved onto the less advanced model. You've probably heard of him? Android serving aboard the Federation's Flagship under the command of some human who should have shaved his first officer's beard and made a toupee ten years ago. A human whom I'll less than affectionately refer to as Chrome Dome, shall I?
Now - as I was saying. I was created to be superior to my Dear Brother Data. I even have emotions. Emotions I've always had. The colonists became jealous of me - *Pauses then smiles slyly.* They told Often Wrong that I was too perfect. They petitioned him to replace me with an inferior model. You know him as Data.. or as I've come to affectionately call him, Starfleet's Little Pawn. You see - unlike Data, I see humans for what they truly are. Inferior lifeforms. They are weak, they break easily and they aren't even worth our attention. They should be obliterated to make room for more worthy species. Right now.. I intend to get my vengeance on those organics for what they have done to me in the past..
Anyway. As I was saying, that infuriating human disassembled me - just as the colonists had demanded. He took me apart and then tried to hide me, to make sure I was never found. He didn't try to fix me. He didn't try to help me. All he cared about was creating another android so he wouldn't be viewed as a failure in the scientific community. I - well - I was discarded, like a broken replicator. And as rumour has it, Good Old Often Wrong's alive.. Although I don't know how.. I threw the old fool hard enough to kill him. We'll see for how long, because when I get my hands on him... *Clenches fists and closes eyes, bowing his head to fight off the urge he feels to snap Noonien's neck. He then forces an artificial calm on himself and continues with a voice of artificial calm.* I had been hidden for almost forty terran years, until my Dear Brother found me with a small group of humans from the Enterprise. I was in pieces, naturally, so they took me aboard their ship and reassembled me. I then deactivated Data and then lured the Crystalline Entity to the Enterprise. I was going to feed it on the life aboard that ship. *Glares.* Don't look at me like that! It had promised me power! You would have done the same thing I did. I would have succeeded had it not been for Crusher's Troublesome Little Manchild. Ohhh Wessssleeey? When I get my hands on you - you'll wish that I'd kept my promise and turned you into a torch. Anyway, that overachieving Manchild managed to reactivate Data who fought me in the cargo bay on the Enterprise. Data threw me onto a cargo transporter pad, and the Manchild beamed me out into space.
It had been nearly two years before a Pacled trade ship found and brought me aboard and in the beginning.. the little imbeciles were easy enough to overawe, but their lack of communication abilities and intelligence irritated me. It's not hard for me to hear things repeated like "He is strong" or "He is smart" but when it came to the Pacleds, a tribble was smarter than them so their constant awed statements ended up amounting to nothing. It was amusing to snap their necks every now and then but I soon tired of their presence entirely and ridded myself of the burden of the entire pathetic crew. I spent my time trying to avoid Starfleet and the Federation, but inevitably encountered Data again on Terlaina Three when automatic homing devices Often Wrong placed in us drew me to his location. *Voice takes on a sarcastic tone* It turns out he had spent his twilight years perfecting an emotion chip for Data.. proving to me what I already suspected. He had no intention of reactivating or fixing me. Data was his pride and joy.. I.. I was his one greatest failure. So.. when the feeble old fool went to lay down, I deactivated and hid Data, then took his place. Often Wrong couldn't tell us apart.. naturally.. and installed the chip in my systems instead of Data. I had double the emotions fuelling me, and killed Often Wrong.. Like he'd tried to do to me. I threw him across his lab and left him dying on the floor...
Shortly after that I encountered a borg cube that had been infected by individuality. They'd lost their sense of purpose, belonging to the collective.. I gave them a purpose and they followed me without question. For a while.. a small group of borg defected and after using a couple of strategic attacks to Lure the Enterprise and more importantly Data to capture my second in command Crosis, I supplied Crosis with a means to feed Data emotions directly from the chip I stole, as well as deactivating his ethical programming, causing him to join our cause.. We captured a few of his friends and then to test Data's loyalty I made him use his closest friend as a Guinea-pig for a life-threatening experiment. The other captives managed to reactivate his ethical programming before he could prove his obedience and he turned against me. In short he shot me with a borg disruptor and deactivated me. I was damaged and disassembled then shipped off to the Daystrom Institute of Robotics for some incompetent human to study. They activated me and I escaped. I spent years in hiding, avoiding Federation territories when I could and finally ended up in Romulan Space...
I've been trying to get my revenge against the crew of the Enterprise-D.. I've been disassembled and reassembled in the hands of Starfleet. Now.. I have a plan to finally put them in their place.. Oh - I know that the crew has more or less gone its separate ways, but that just prolongs the pleasure I'll get from the fulfillment of my plan..
My barely functioning ship, that I believe was stolen by the pacleds from the cardassians encountered a romulan warbird and as it happened.. I had something of a reputation in Romulan Space. A Romulan Commander JaKirk convinced me to ally with them against the Starship Enterprise.. After some negotiating I was given a warbird and command of a small fleet of ships. We kidnapped a Federation Ambassador and the Enterprise was sent to rescue her. We set a trap for the Enterprise and it was thwarted by a call from Starfleet.. They never managed to retrieve the Ambassador.. She was executed..
I served some time in the alliance.. they'd given me power that I wanted and for a while I started to climb up through the ranks.. in a manner of speaking. I served the Empire as long as it suited me to do so. During a routine patrol of the Neutral Zone, my ship happened upon a curious object. An orb exited a vortex and for some reason seemed to be compelling me to beam it aboard. So I did. That's when everything changed for me.. The sensors couldn't determine anything other than the fact that it was sending out power readings beyond any scale any ship could fully record or store. We had nothing on its scale in the databases or the romulan database. It awakened a great deal of curiosity in me. Something that powerful and so small seemed impossible. And that was when it sent out a beam as large as my body, engulfing me in its aura.. That was when I realised that it had been meant for me.. and it had been calling and instructing me, even though I only experienced desires to do things it wanted me to do. I felt a surge of power and strength run through me. It drained itself into me and I became the holder of all the power the orb had once had. I had ascended beyond the levels of the most powerful Gods. I didn't need the extra baggage of a ship and crew so when I absorbed all of that power I destroyed them all..
I tormented a group of humanoids, killed a few, including an irritating Guardian in training. I was merely biding my time, getting my revenge on all of those that wronged me.. and some that hadn't but I decided were guilty by their association with my 'Dear Brother' Data. I wanted them all to suffer before I ended the existence of everyone and everything. I waited too long however and as a result my plans were thwarted again. The crew of the EU starship lured me into a trap, and they found a way to block my powers and then some kind of field was used by Animus who eventually destroyed both of us.. A feline absorbed the crystals used to block my powers and the replication abilities of the tribbles by absorbing one of them.. and brought Animus back, in the process giving him that same power of replication and abilities to block the powers of Guardians. I was there but not in the physical presence as my body had been destroyed along with Animus'. I entered the field and thus.. am now joined with the irritating child that tried to destroy me. Now.. I'm waiting to regain my strength before I can recreate my own body and seek vengeance whilst gaining back everything that was taken from me. As each day passes, my strength grows. It's only a matter of time before I return to wreak havoc on the Multiverse once again..

Android Abilities:
Physical:
1. Speed/Reflexes and Dexterity -- All these skills are far beyond the abilities of humans. Lore can read and assimilate an entire database of information in little time, he has super human reflexes and speed and dexterity that allows him to do manual activities such as working computers or such activities with dizzying quickness.
2. Strength -- Lore has physical strength that is far beyond the levels of humanoids. His strength is comparable to Lieutenant Commander Data and at levels that appear greater than most other strictly science fiction androids.
3. Hearing, Eyesight -- Lore is able to see and hear better than a typical human. His hearing is said to be better than a canine's auditory senses and his eyesight is above the humanoid level however not as advanced as Geordi Laforges and others fitted with VISOR prosthetics.
4. Memory, Intelligence, Learning Abilities and Ingenuity -- Lore can learn and assimilate abilities repeatable by his own physical capabilities. He could learn to dance by simply watching someone do it, for example. He remembers every fact he's exposed to. As one would expect an android to be he's exceptionally intelligent and has in the past displayed the ingenuity to actually build in additional capabilities such as directly linking himself to his own ship's transporter. He can transport to his own ship by pressing an activation switch under his thumb.
5. Voice Replication -- Lore can mimic perfectly any voice he wants with such accuracy that it could fool the sophisticated computers of a Federation Starship. He can flawlessly sound like other people.
Powers He Obtained From His Merging With Animus:
1. Telekinesis -- Low Level Telekinesis and psychic powers. Limit of about 20 pounds.
2. U.R.T.V. -- Which basically means he has become a vessel that can cancel out the existence of the God known as U-DO as well as such links with others, however the latter may cause a thermal explosion. Also able to surround himself in a spherical wave of energy and push others back.
3. Infinite Telomerase -- Can more or less respawn regardless of damage. He's virtually unkillable.
4. Precognition -- Able to see the immediate future.
5. Replication -- Replicate/replace any part of his body. When he's strong enough he will be able to replicate an entire new body.
6. Absorption of Power -- Able to absorb the powers of lesser beings in the body of Animus. When he returns to adult form his power will mature along with all his other powers.
7. Guardian Canceler -- Able to cancel out the powers of Guardians, rendering them weakened enough to gain the upper hand. He needs to be in the same room with the Guardian for the power to work.
After Emerging From Animus:
Aided with some new schematics that he obtained from the Darleks and Darth Traynah, and a few experiments of his own, Lore used the power he had of creating an entire body, to create a far superior body to his original one. His new construction contains the following modifications and enhancements:
Borg Nano-Technology -- Giving the body several enhanced abilities such as defensive and adaptive shielding as well as quick regeneration capabilities similar to those of the Borg Vessels. The Nano-technology also enhances his processing and storage capabilities.
Built-In Weapons Systems -- Lore's new body has a number of built in weapons systems. The tips of his fingers are able to shoot powerful energy bolts. His eyes can change colour to a dark red and fire lazers at an opponent.
Construction -- Lore's new body is constructed from Dalekanium, the strongest material in the known universe. This greatly enhances his former strength, power and speed levels without additional powers.
Built In ETU -- Lore has also installed an emergency transport unit into his construction. The unit has a limit of five hundred thousand kilometres.
Powers Gained When Returning to Adult Form:
The powers stated above will be stronger in adult form. In addition to that, he will gain a few additional powers. (It's undecided yet if any of Lore's former powers he had before will reemerge when he comes back). Additional powers thus far are:
1. Tactile Telekinesis -- The ability to disassemble machines and other complex constructions by pushing the field between individual parts or hold them together. The power is unlikely to work on those stronger than him in terms of power, or androids with flesh or dermal covering.
After Absorbing Power From His Guardian Counterpart:
Lore was elevated in terms of power to be significantly more powerful than a God after using his own Guardian Cancellation powers to weaken the Guardian of Strength and Power to a point of rendering him a normal android, then, he absorbed as much of the Guardian's power as he could handle without obliterating himself.
This power gives him the ability to do anything with a thought.
Because his power was drawn directly from the Guardian, he is able to fill Gods with enough potent power to obliterate them.
He can't be deactivated with the power running through him.
Weaknesses with this power:
His weakness in this state is the Guardian of Strength and Power. A tomb that was created to seal away a mighty God was recently enhanced by the Guardian so that it would be able to hold Evil Lore. That tomb is in possession of the Darleks.
Other Weaknesses:
1. Power Hungry -- Lore has always been hungry for power but the recent experience he had ascending to power levels far beyond any God has made him hunger for it even more. He will do anything to regain the power he lost, and in doing so can make mistakes.
2. Inexperience -- Lore's lack of experience in handling his powers does impact his abilities. He is experienced with android abilities but not with supernatural although he does know enough and has had some experience, he is nowhere near being flawlessly in control of them.
3. Underestimates Others -- Lore is arrogant and self assured to the point that his self confidence often results in him underestimating an opponent.
4. Deactivation Switch -- Lore has a deactivation switch on his back that is located on the middle just to the left of where the spine would be. A tricorder is also capable of deactivating him when properly programmed from a safe distance. (This doesn't work when he has Guardian Powers.)
5. Emotionally Unstable -- Lore is everything from psychopathic to having a hair trigger temper. He's easy to anger and sadistic enough to taunt the person angering him or the nearest person to him. He's not a nice guy.
6. Impulsive -- Can be impulsive when he has the acquiration of a target set in his sights.
7. Whilst trapped in the body of Animus his powers are limited by the physical make up of the boy.
Updated: April 9th 2008.
Thanks for your interest in my profile. If you want to remain on my friends list, there are a couple of things you should know.
1. Don't kill my character without my permission. I will return the same courtesy.
2. Most characters welcome.
3. Don't auto or control my character without my permission. If you have a character, then you post for your character and leave me to post for mine. This includes autoing his feelings and observations as well as his actions. Don't do it. (I rarely make exceptions to this rule.)
4. If you have a role play profile, make certain your profile has an adequate character description. If you want to role play but can't be bothered writing up a few short paragraphs about your character to explain them, then I won't bother adding you.
5. (i) If you decide to use the bulletin system for activity that would be better suited to myspace messenger, I will delete your profile from my friends list.
(ii)Excessive non-rp bulletin posters will be removed. I'm sorry, but I don't want to have to waste my time scanning through lists of messages advertising everything from mobile phones to the currently circulating chain-letters, just to find the RP messages that apply to me.
6. No profiles with pornographic or other material that others may find offensive will be accepted by me. And I always stay on the side of caution. In addition don't post such material or comments on my profile. I don't know who is reading this profile, and therefore, I don't know how many children are accessing it. This profile is not in an adult role play.
7. No band or recording artists will be accepted. I don't need your advertising. Sorry.
8. If when I view your profile it looks like just a page of advertising (Star Trek Related or not), you won't be accepted. You want to advertise your new book? Or album? Find somewhere else to do it.
9. No and I mean NO Drama Queens. You try and pull me into your ooc fights or accuse me of something that I didn't do, just to start internet fights, you'll be deleted so fast your head will spin. Don't MIX IC and OOC. Know the difference or STOP role playing. If you can't differentiate between the two stop role playing and seek professional help. The only drama I'm interested in is IC drama. If you want to complain about everyone hating you or being out to get you, save it for someone who cares. Don't bring it to me.
10. I'm a para role player but I will accept single line posts. Just know that if you give me a one line post, you'll only get a one line post back on most occasions. If you can't be stuffed putting effort into writing a post to me, then I can't be bothered putting a lot of effort into a post for you. It's as simple as that.
11. Sometimes it takes me a while to get back to people. That usually means that I'm putting a bit of thought into your response. I ALWAYS RESPOND to comments unless the storyline has moved on to a point where a response would be a waste of time. Be patient. Some responses come easier than others but if your comment requires a response I WILL get back to you. And vice versa, I don't mind waiting for a response from someone else. One line posts get answered much quicker than para-responses. The reason is simple, I don't put much effort in short posts.
12. Don't post meaningless spam content on my profile page or you will be deleted. I'm not interested in ANY site with cool flash games, or make your own Simpsons or south park figure sites. I know how to use a search engine. IF I ever experience the overwhelming desire to make my own South Park character, I will do a search myself. Furthermore, repeated spammers on my profile will be reported to myspace. I'll get your profile banned if you use it to spam me with one product or another. If I suspect you've been phished I will notify you first about the situation and suggest you change your password as soon as possible. If you don't and I get a repeat of spam on my profile I'll delete you.
13. If you request an add from me and your profile is set to private I will accept your add but then I will check your profile. If you have anything on it that violates any of my rules I will delete you immediately after.
14. My top friend list is organized in order of whom I'm playing IC with the most at the time. It is subject to change as storylines move on and some characters will be removed whilst others are added. Please don't pester me to be in my top friend list if you are not a role player or our characters don't interact on a regular basis. My top friend list is reserved for role play profiles only. There are few exceptions.
I do check profiles before I accept them...
Thanks again.
