URBAN LIGHT is originally from Detroit and moves in the flow and Spirit of God. She is a gifted and talented Spoken Word Artist, Writer, Author and Singer. She is a “Tom Joyner Morning show grand finalistâ€, has graced the front page of newspapers in Metro Atlanta, televised during the NAACP annual Martin Luther King Celebration, and host the “Da Poet’s Corner†at the World Natural Hair Health and Beauty Show. She has also performed twice during Joyce Little’s Poetic Moments on the hottest radio station in Atlanta V103.3 FM, where she reached over 1-million listeners with her inspirational piece “Good Black Menâ€. Most recently she opened up with another powerful performance for Stax recording artist Angie Stone.
