Life is about why it happens so late...

About Me

I am a writer, painter, musician, songwriter, recording engineer and massage therapist. I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and an appetite for life thats bigger than I can swallow. I have many ambitions, which include writing an autobiographical novel, recording an album, producing for other artists and musicians, being a DJ, starting my own business, traveling the world, and saving people from negative vibes. Lifes too short, so I feel a sense of urgency, yet I get so overwhlemed with wanting so much that I waist time contemplating what I want to do first. I guess I'll just take what comes first and let the rest fall into place :)

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

There’s nothing quite like…Yoga in the morning; a walk through the park; the sound of ocean waves; the texture of beach sand under my feet; meditation in an art museum; the laughter of a child; the love and kindness of a stranger; candles in my apartment; wine tasting; creative cuisine; heart-lifting melodies; reiki; a massage on a rainy night; spiritual epiphanies; staring at the night sky on my balcony; spontaneous piano playing; singing in my car on a long drive; a long and passionate kiss; abandoning the perception of time just long enough to live in the present moment; music in 5.1 surround; live music in a chill little club; free-spirited dancing; beautiful old architecture; bad singing that sounds beautiful because it authentically articulates the depths of the soul; miracles in the mundane; the love and kindness of a listening friend; solitary sushi; a good wasabi rush; painting aimlessly; religious diversity; the art of language; obscure indie films that make perfect sense; walking only a mile to see the Dalai Lama; foolish wisdom and humble pie; paradoxes; working enough jobs to make a lot of new friends I don’t have time for.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet people who are honest with themselves and others. People who don't conform to the shallow standards of society, but have a good sense of freedom to be themselves.

Music:

My soundDNA consists of music from the following artists and thier specified albums or songs: Air; Banco De Gaia; Bjork; Bliss (Quiet Letters); Blur (Think Tank); Boards of Canada (The Campfire Headphase); BT; Charlotte Martin (Stromata); Coldplay; Daft Punk (Discovery); Death Cab For Cutie (Soul Meets Body); Depeche Mode; Devics (Red Morning); The Dining Rooms (Numero Deaux); DJ Rap; Emiliana Torrini (Love in the Time of Science); Everything But The Girl; Faithless; The Future Sound of London (Papua New Guinea); Interpol (Turn On The Bright Lights); Karsh Kale (Broken English); Louise Goffin (Sometimes A Circle); Moby; Nelly Furtado (Whoa Nelly... definitely not "Loose"); New Order (True Faith); Paul Weller (Wildwood- Portishead remix); Placebo (Sleeping With Ghosts); R.E.M. (Losing My Religion); Radiohead (Amnesiac); Sade (Lovers Rock); Sepreme Beings of Leisure; Shels (The Sea of the Dying Dhow) Thievery Corporation; U2; Zero 7.

Television:

Sex and the City. The Simpsons. The Family Guy. ...... of course, I try to watch as little tv as possible, though there are times where I just feel like vegging out.

Books:

The Seat of the Soul. Reading Lolita in Tehran. The Sacred Romance. Living Buddha, Living Christ. The Power of Intention. What's Right With Islam Is What's Right With America- this book is incredible, it speaks of all the great things the two have in common.

Heroes:

God and any human being throughout history, regardless of culture or religion, who has influenced the collective human conciousness to evolve towards God.
