Jeff Seidel brings a raw, untouched sound to any stage. His undeniable tenor voice thrills and amazes audiences everywhere he performs, often drawing comparisons to Steve Perry of Journey and Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts.His musical journey started in the “Jesus Movement†of the early 1970’s. His dad was a minister and taught Jeff to play guitar at the age of 5. His first performance was at the age of 7. He sang at his first wedding at the age of 9 performing the Peter, Paul & Mary classic “The Wedding Song†– which he can still perform in the same key today!He lettered in football and basketball in high school, and even earned a basketball scholarship to a small Christian college in his home state of Oregon. He chose instead to take over his family’s business, where he labored for 15 years. He didn’t really understand his true musical talent until he met his wife, Carin. With her encouragement, he entered his first singing contest at the age of 23, and won! Since then, he has won or placed highly in every contest he has entered – including a Top 5 showing in Star Mania’s national search, winning him a trip to Las Vegas in 1990. He later joined his church choir, and performed his first solo on Easter, 1991. He immediately became a congregation favorite, and became a worship leader in 1993. A year later, Jeff and his family made the cross-country move to Nashville. In 1996, he recorded and produced his first full-length solo project that included the talents of many great writers and musicians such as Phil Keaggy, Bernie Herms (Natalie Grant), Michael Gallaher (Joe Cocker, Delbert McClinton), and Brian Wooten (Whiteheart, The Imperials, Trace Adkins).His musical influences are vast and include such greats as Journey, Boston, Phil Keaggy, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Gary Chapman, Daniel Amos and The Imperials – which he recently toured with as their tenor; and has been compared to the likes of the late, great Warren Wiebe who performed with and for such greats as David Foster, Stevie Wonder & Celine Deon.FOR MORE INFORMATION:
