Empowering, dynamic, relentless. These words can only begin to describe this up and coming, Chicago native band. Bringing a new edge to the Christian rock scene, Jairus Cry skillfully delivers a style embodied by aggressive melody, hard hitting rhythm and most importantly, a message of hope. The four member rock quartet (Brian Eskridge, vocals; Brad Clark, guitar; Stan Harder, bass; and a drummer, drums) took form in early 2005, stemming from the band Torn, and has since been tirelessly writing and playing tour dates all over the mid-west. Their persistance and drive have earned them the right to share the stage with such notable acts as: Skillet, Pillar, Disciple, Building 429, Seventh Day Slumber, Story Side B and many others.Jairus Cry's self-titled EP was produced by Dove Award winner Barry Blair (Audio Adrenalin, Bleach), and mixed by two-time Dove Award winner Plink Giglio. It features five masterfully crafted tracks that speak of passion, pain, but most importantly, redemption.Currently the band is working on new material for their upcoming full-length record and continuing to play tour dates as they fulfill a calling to share Christ's life changing love through music and testimony.
