music always played one of the most important parts in my life. just right from the beginning of my childhood i enjoyed music with all its facets as i lied in the arms of my dad listening to old vinyls he collected. he always attached great importance to music. from that time on my love to music was suited to grow too.
then, once upon a time my life seemed to change within a second: it was just love at first sight when my ears got blessed with house music. i was sweet fifteen as i sat in the taxi cruising downtown to ibiza listening to my first important house song: basement jaxx, red alert. the taxi driver turned up the radio & i knew: awesome, that's it! won't forget that mom. this trip was a formative influence for my development concerning music (and of course for so much more). i was not visiting any clubs in ibiza what didn't matter at all, cause life was in the streets. i absorbed so many impressions by being part of ibiza's lifestyle.
back in germany, i devoted all my energy in music. i bought some compilations like café del mar or cassius' 1999 & used to cut tracks from the radio on audio tapes. based on all the information i got about house music (also by reading a lot) my affection expanded: i started to listen to deep, funky and soulful shit & loved experimental sounds, so as 2Step & garage also caught my eye. little by little my fascination for djs & dj techniques grew as well. i bought my first vinyls & a player on a flea market.
the future is NOW! nowadays still giving all my love & passion to music, mainly sexy deep house, as well as techy and electronical sounds. i do believe that my taste is more precise in these days, so i can name better what u like or what i don't. however, still unchanged is my unrestricted openess for good music & new stuff. and because of my unfulfilled dream being a djane (not yet!) i mix on the computer now & then.
next to my passion for music i also love what I do mainly: working with children & their families. i'm studying educational studies & psychology. mainly i concentrate on therapy (although i don't like that word, for me it has a negative connotation, let's say training) & diagnostics concerning children & their parents. love to work practical & it's always amazing for me, everyday anew, to see: pedagogical work is successful what means to raise a child's smile. i know, sounds kitschy, but that's the way it is...
that's it. i'm out. ende, aus, applaus.
