THE COMMERCIAL SIDE: I create photographic images for advertising, editorial publications and individual clients. What I do is not only about getting a nice image of my subjects or products, it's about capturing the character or spirit through the lens.
THE ART SIDE: When it comes to my personal work, digital photography just doesn’t fit my needs. Don’t get me wrong, digital pays the bills. But to me, it makes photography seem too much like work. And it should not be that way. I'll admit it, I'm old school and still believe in the craft of photography. I enjoy using traditional film & paper for both my portraiture and personal work. I love everything about the darkroom; the smell, the sound of running water and the cool red lights. There is absolutely no better way to get a great print than spending a little time in the dark.
