DE VINAL aka Al,I've been spinning records for about eight years, starting from a chance meeting with some decks round a freinds house. From the moment I put two records together and felt my mind fly with the delight of putting together lyrics, beats, bass lines and melody's to make people dance and love music, my life had a new focus. I love music in all its forms from Drum and Bass to Classical, Folk to Funk I love a lot of peoples music and love everytime I hear something new that makes me sit up and notice. Not so long ago I was at a Taverna in the north part of Greece, and some guys were playing traditional songs and singing everyone was dancing, laughing, a lot of fun was being had, suddenly a beat thuds its was from a drum under the little bazuki from a guy with an big old skinned barrel that would have made any PHat Breaks beat take notice, pounds out this this doulble beat that makes your heart thud along and your adrenaline make you jump and shake your ass, amazing. However the music I love to spin most of all, the one type that i've always loved to come back to, and has inspired me for many years (and I hope to come) is House. I play most of all House music, I love the Jazzy stuff, Funky stuff, Soulful stuff, electro stuff, Love stuff (mmm, lyrics that make you fall in love), Tech stuff, Breaks stuff,,,, Latin drums stuff, old, new, 98, 02, 89, Trancey stuff, if its good to my ears I like it.
