About Me

Wouldn’t this just be the perfect spot for an official band biography?! I think so, too.. Unfortunately some guys in the band are too busy, while others seem to be too lazy (you read this, Robocop?! haha..) to write a biography. So until i finally get some lines by the band themselves, you’ll have to read my own words on this tribute page and the band it’s dediacted to.
I set this page up for one of my alltime favorite Grindcore acts - NEGLIGENT COLLATERAL COLLAPSE from Czech Republic. I love this outstanding band for many years now and since the name N.C.C. is kinda history these days, i felt like paying some kind of tribute to this remarkable band.
They started in 1995 as a two piece outfit, with Ierich on drums and Robocop on guitar. I’ll skip listing all of their outputs, as you can find a detailed discography below. Nevertheless some releases have to be mentioned. In 1996 debut tape "28 Minutes Of Silence For All Innocent Victims" was released, which dealt with the second world war from a czech point of view. Singer on this tape was Chymus, who later moved on with another Czech grind institution, mighty Isacaarum. Today's vocalist Paul joined N.C.C. with 1997 demo "Spasm of Extinction" (Split with Japanese cult band C.U.M.). The band also had an official bass player for some time in that era, Jarda (now in Saywhy?), but he never took part in any recording. With 1999 released promo tape "Homologated Recycled 4d Hippies", followed by "Feynman" 7" EP in 2000, Ierich's lyrical tendencies towards (astro)physics, chemistry and computer related topics set the marking points for N.C.C.'s lyrical focus on these themes. For some words on N.C.C. lyrics by Ierich himself, read the interviews i linked in a blog above. In 2002 Brain (these days also in Jig-Ai, Psychotic Despair and Flying Brains) joined the band as second guitarist, and until 2005 they released three essential full length CDs on Czech label Obscene Productions - "Reprocess Segment Database Extender" in 2002, "Paranormal Nanodivision" in 2003 and “Sick Atoms” in 2005. I’m normally not a fan of splits or more-way releases, but i definitely also have to recommend 2004 released 4-way-split “United States Of Goregrind”, as next to four excellent N.C.C. tracks, you also get really good material by US Grind outfit Screaming Afterbirth and sadly defunct Italian Grind chaotics Corporal Raid (i don’t care for the fourth band Devourment). In 2006 N.C.C. finally added a permanent bassist with Buraak (also in Jig-Ai and Destructive Explosion Of Anal Garland). But also in 2006 founding member and head behind lyrical concept Ierich quit the band, as far as i know out of job/family/time reasons. The rest of the band decided to change the name into EARDELETE, and continued with new drummer Misa. Besides the band name there was no change whatsoever, they continued seamlessly with the bands unique musical style, and recorded and released their first album “Zombielogy” under their new name in 2007 on Obscene Productions again. So when you read EARDELETE, be sure to also read NEGLIGENT COLLATERAL COLLAPSE.
If you get the chance to see the band live - don’t miss it. The band’s biggest problem is lack of time, as the single members live in different parts of Czech Republic, some are busy with other bands, while others got family and kids, not to forget their jobs. It’s obvious that all these aspects make it difficult for a five-piece-band to rehearse and play live, not even talking about touring. So if you get the chance to catch them live - don’t hesitate! I’ve seen the band quite a few times, both as N.C.C. and EARDELETE, and i can assure you that these guys are stronger than ever these days!
Support this outstanding band! Buy their records, have fun at their shows! Pay tribute to eleven years of NEGLIGENT COLLATERAL COLLAPSE and get EARDELETEd!
