Even We Need Help Non Profit

Even We Need Help Non Profit is a non profit organization that works to provide single fathers and felons with suitable housing and job assistance. We at E.W.N.H. believe a man needs his own to truly feel like a man . He needs his own space, own rules (for him as well as his children)and just his own everything. We want to offer them assistance with obtaining that. The programs available will work with single fathers to provide them with suitable housing. Also assistance with child support arrangements, visitation, medication and legal assistance. Felons that are coming out of a halfway house that need a place to transition to. This program is available to clients that have 6-8 months left to serve on a 12-18 month sentences. Once the client is done with his sentence, if he becomes an inactive client there will be property available for him to rent with the option to buy. If he is an active client upon release(meaning still on active probation/or parole) he will be placed in a unit for active clients. This property is to be approved by the acting probation officer and is only offered to clients in complete compliance with their probation. Housing will be offered to felons being released and needing a place to start. This program is a 6 month program. Once the 6 month contract is up if the client is in compliance with his agreed upon contract between himself and his case manager, he can then move up a level. Another level would be to move into a house that is in the rent to own program. The Rent to own program will have property purchased from banks, or abandoned and then restored. This stage is one of the last levels in the program. All property would be low-income. The rent will be 30% of the clients income, but 15% will be placed in an account for the client until such time that he can purchase the property, or to use as an interest deposit on the property. The 30% rent would no longer be split, but would all go to pay off the property.Now we are still in the starting stages of this organization so we don't have the resources to do all of this. We are currently looking for funding to start purchasing the property. We can still help in small ways such as finding resources that would assist with what we can't at the moment, make calls on behalf of clients, and just try to put you in contact with more active organizations that can offer you the assistance that you need. Now don't get me wrong, I am in no way trying to short what a female does or what it takes to be a mother nor am I trying to help any fathers take away any child. (I nor my company will be involved with the removal of a child from either parent.) This program is to help males rebuild and start over and become better fathers, son, husbands, and just men. I know a man doesn't want to go to jail but how is it a man can go to jail trying to do what it takes to not go and ends up going anyway. (How is that fair.) I know females have some of the same problems but when they get out of jail or have a child there are organizations lining up to help them. Where is that same help for a man. As a mother of four I know how hard it is to be a mother. But as much as we run around screaming we need help we can't get the help we need from men because they don't have it to give. What if we took the time and energy it takes to fuss and cuss about them and did something to help them. Don't you think they would be in a better positon to help us. Don't get me wrong. I know some females can make it hard to be a father to your child and that is not how it is suppose to be. Grown up things are just that. GROWN UP THINGS.
