Married September 23, 2006!
Honeymoon in Kauai
There is no particular genre that I obsess about or about which I feign to know everything... I love many sounds. Most of my CDs=classical music, but that's simply because I don't have many CDs... I check CDs out at the library and only buy pieces I plan to sing or have sung. I also tend to listen to a lot of both ethnic and American folk styles/influences. I like to dance to hip-hop, but rarely listen to it otherwise. I grew up in a town with an annual rodeo, so I hate modern country... but the "real" stuff from the old west is cool. I used to like sad music a lot--I listened to a lot of Fiona and Ben when I was a freshman in college. I still like those artists, but I don't feel like wallowing anymore.
Some of my current favorites: Rushmore, Philadelphia Story, Edward Scissorhands, Amelie, LOTR, You've Got Mail (who can resist?), Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman, Groundhog Day, Like Water for Chocolate, Love Actually, Annie Hall, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington...
TV, Schmee-V. I'm addicted to my laptop instead.
Oh books... how I love you!
