Hello world...I am Sherisse Rose, both a musician and humanitarian for over 10 years. I decided to find my own voice after performing in a variety of projects with others, including hit recording artists, Mandy Moore and Kyle Cook of Matchbox Twenty. I have always loved writing, singing, and connecting to others. What better way to do that then through social work and music?
Sherisse Rose, born on July 9, 1980 in Miami, Florida, is inspired by the people she meets and the stories they share." She states that her music has a strong message of unity, and self exploration. "My hope is to lift the haze of disconnect between people today. I want us to be united with each other and further the idea of tolerance and acceptance." Sherisse obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work and states, while she enjoys the field, she continues to work in concert with mastering her musical talents and sharing them with others. In her self-debut album, Earthbound, Sherisse Rose offers a light innocence in her voice and lyrics. Her hypnotizing vocals, and easy listening sound, create a feeling of satisfaction for her listeners to enjoy. Those who have heard her music assure, "You will be delighted with her earthy tones and sweet melodies!"
