A house-afire voice meets a style-hopping guitarist
The captivating duo of James "Shoes" Walker (guitar) and Rebeqa Rivers (vocals) seamlessly traverse Jazz, Folk, Blues, Funk, Classical, and World Music. Whether they are reigniting a love for an old classic song or opening your eyes with an original work, the one thing they will never do is stop suprising you!
The two met in 2003 in a Coffeeshop in downtown Seattle. Once they realized the musical possibilities of their friendship, they were soon performing. Since then they have appeared in several Seattle venues, including the Richard Hugo House and in the La Familia Gallery's 2007 winter concert series.
