Sing To Me Fairchild began in the fall of 2007 in McPherson, Kansas when Andrew Reeves, then the drummer and songwriter of Pop/Rock band Chasing Eleanor , was looking for an outlet to record and perform some of his less “rocky†material that didn’t seem to find a place in any of Chasing Eleanor’s set lists. Mostly songs of love and loss, none of Reeves’ new material seemed to compliment the positive outlook of Chasing Eleanor’s music.
Reeves performed and recorded by himself in McPherson, Kansas, as well as in his hometown of Cape May, New Jersey, where he now resides and lives a reasonably quiet existence. With its roots in folk, pop, and rock music, STMF always keeps the listeners guessing what will come next.
Sing To Me Fairchild is dedicated to writing truly heartfelt music; songs for the broken and down trodden. We’ve all seen pain in our own lives, STMF adds a melody and hopes to make it through.
