Max McPherson is 22 years old and has been playing guitar more or less everyday for the past 14 years.
In 2006 he moved from the North of Scotland to Guildford Surrey to study at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music and now holds an Honours Degree in Contemporary Music as well as an HND in Performance.
He also has a Diploma in Music Teaching and has been teaching guitar on and off for the past 7 years in schools, community centres, music stores and privately.
He has as a wide experience playing in function and original bands throughout the UK as well as playing guitar and singing in a number of acoustic solo and duo situations supporting acts such as Nazereth, Rob Tognoni, Kirk Brandon and The Bees.
He is currently gigging around the London area with his own trio “The Max McPherson Band†as well as co-writing, producing and playing guitar for rock artist Alexis Demetriou.
He has also written and recorded music for several independent documentary film makers as well as music for local advertising companies.
