As seen through the eyes of the C.E.O. Who are the Bloq Boiz? The Bloq Boiz are the most versatile and the most talented trio since the days of the 3 Stooges. But these guys are NO JOKE! Matter fact, these 3 men are far from a joke. With beats by Dimonz, Southern Swag from G.C, and street savee from C- Beezy, the rap game has no choice but to recognize real music! Against da Wall Records was started in February of 2005. I named it it Against da Wall cause I felt like everyone in my circle had their back against the wall. And Black Dimonz was one of the first cats that I felt was truley Against Da Wall. When Dimonz first came 2 my studio, he dropped a verse on a track with Young Mike & Grim Thug. And what I heard was nothing short of vebal excellence. So I asked him his story and he said, "I'm from Cali, I make beats and I wanna stay outta trouble for the sake of my twin and my momma. And from that point on I had no choice but to respect him as a man. Dimonz was the first man to come to me and question my position as the CEO of my label. I asked him why did he do that and who did he think he wqas? He said, "I'm Black Dimonz. I don't bite my tongue for no one. All I've done was waste my time and music on people that did not want it as bad as me." And when he said that, T knew his back was against da wall. One day another cat came by the studio and dropped a verse, but I wasn't paying attention to what he was sayin. I was busy in other parts of the studio working on setting up a show. When he was done he shook my hand and left. A few days went by and I decided to listen to what the youngster did. I could not believe what I heard. I called all over town trying to figure out who this guy was. It took me 2 months and I finally found him. He said his name was G.C. He said he from St. Louis and was looking for a home. He told me his story about gangs,rapping and his family issues. I couldn't let this much talent slide through my fingers, so I had to put him down with the Wall. And then there's C-Beezy. G.C told his upstairs neighbor,Beezy, of a studio that he could record at back in the summer of 2006. So G.C sent Beezy my way. Every payday, Beezy was at my studio dropping some hot verses over industry beats. Everything he was spitting was real and very visual. He was like the Pied Piper of FunkyTown. He was spitting things that I lived 10-15 years ago, and it was like I was living my years as a hoodlum all over again. One day a former labelmate asked me, "You know C-Beezy wants to be down with the Wall, right?" I said"Naw!" So I asked Beezy why he didn't say anything? He said,"I thought you needed the money!" After I shook of the feeling of being insulted, I asked him did he wanna be down? He said yeah and the rest is history. After a year and some change,(14 months) Dimonz called me. He said,"Pop, I wanna start a group with G.C, and C-Beezy." I said cool! Then he said something that shocked me. Dimonz said, "I'm gonna record, make the beats, mix and master our album in 10 days!" THEY DID IT IN 8! 19 tracks of pure heat! After listening to their album, they finally decided on a name for the group. It had to be different that describe their attitudes, personalities, and their music....BLOQ BOIZ!
