About Me
Born in Padova, Italy in 1975, Fabrizio was taking classical piano lessons by the age of five. By age nine he had not only changed instrument, but more significantly changed musical genres. The classicaly prepared piano prodigy had become an awe struck jazz guitar enthusiast whose guding lights were no longer Bach and Chopin but Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery and Jimi Hendrix.Since then Fabrizio has played and recorded with many outstanding jazz figures such as Al Foster, John Patitucci, Randy Brecker, Michael Brecker, Cassandra Wilson, Roy Hargrove, George Coleman, George Garzone, Steve La Spina, Sammy Figueroa, Mick Goodrick, Mark Egan, Mino Cinelu, Victor Jones, Rachel Z, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Cameron Brown, Andy LaVerne, Harvie Swartz, Brian Lynch, Mick Goodrick, Lincoln Goines, Rick Margitza, James Genus, Clarence Peen, Claudia Acuna and many more....The solo guitar album "THROUGH MY EYES" is Fabrizio Sotti's forth release as a leader,it features 11 original compositions and Fabrizio's acoustic guitar playing at its best.At the time of writing Fabrizio is working on a new Trio recording as well as keeping busy in the studio writing and producing with some of today's greatest Hip Hop and R&B artists (Dead Prez, Q Tip, Tupac, Ghostface Killah, J.Lo, W.Houston, Killah Priest, Styles P, Hell Razah, Foxy Brown, Half Pint, The DEY and the list goes on....)
