RESIDENT FREQUENCY
Resident Frequency, an up-and-coming band hailing from Vernon, NJ, has recently released their self-titled debut EP. The progressive rock band produces fresh and ambient sounds using odd and off-beat time signatures, coupled with unremitting energy- think a cross between Incubus and Tool after 20 shots of espresso. Resident Frequency is exactly what the east coast has been waiting for.
Resident Frequency lures audiences with their truly unique ability to bring back the sounds of 90s rock, intermixed with today’s biggest influences (i.e. funk, reggae, hard rock, punk). Through poetic, and often sarcastic, verses the four member ensemble brings stories of pain, struggle, and rising above, taking listeners to a high of “natural stimulation.” With powerful vocals and sinister guitar licks, Resident Frequency simply consumes.
Currently, Resident Frequency is booking shows in the New Jersey/New York area with plans to increase their, already established, fan base. Resident Frequency is ever writing new songs and is eager to cut a full length record in the near future.
