Koohnka’s first contact with electronic music was in the early 90’s. Itarrived to Hungary with chicago house and detroit acid house. He found thewell-known Technics 1210 MK2 recorder in 1993, and realized what does „loveat first sight” mean.From that time the basic of his sound is house music with smaller changesand improvements, and in 1999 he got to deep house. He got a big influenceby drum&bass as well what was strong and atmospherical in the middle of90’s.Koohnka bought his first records in 1999 and without care about trends andcommercialization of the culture he still uses vinyls. He has got a widerange of records so he is known not just as a DJ but as a collector too.He’s got two releases. The „Clairvoyance & Koohnka – First Steps” can befound on „True Sound of Freee 05” and the „Justmusic 002 mixed by Dandy”records. His big dream came true when he got a request to join the Private Soundsteam among those DJs/producers whom he had already respected for a longtime. They are Forteba, FromP60, Stone and Lank.In Koohnka’s definition music is a medium for strong feelings. When heplays, he gives small pieces from his finest parsonality, tells a story andinvites the audience for a wonderful journey, while puts something more topositive thoughts and development.„Life sentimental!” People always appreciate his work and give good feedbacks after a gig. Henever cared about commerce trends and never wanted to serve the „surface”.Koohnka learnt for a technological engineer but at the age 24 a big changecame in his approach as he wants to care with people. In civil life he is amasseur therapist at world famous Frenák Pál and Pal Frenak Compagnie. He define his jobsimple: choreographied touch.His aim is to gain wider knowledge for more efficient treatment.His musical confession is: „The deep and determined sounded house is aninteresting, pleasurable journey!”
