The lagoon of love all started when Benzadrin and stormy were in a band along with joey Class named "Johnny Freedom and the bill of rights". When Joey Class got a government job he left the band to concentrate of his other band the Senton Bombs. At a loss Stormy and Ben recruited Van Der Pook and randy from blackpools only hardcore band "Hit by an apple". So the first line up was complete, Benzadrin on drums, Randy on Guitar, Van der pook on bass and Stormy on vocals. Most of 2004's "Woodstock Uber-alles" was written with this line up. erm, in november 2004 Randy left to concentrate on the apple leaving Van der pook at the helm of guitar. Sammy Concious joined later that month, in december 2004 "Woodstock Uber-alles" was recorded with this new improved line up. With pook's experimental guitaring and Sammy's bass stylings the band took on a more Pop-Psychedelia direction and in april 2005 recorded the new LP "the day the rains came", as we speak Stormy and Vand der pook are hard at work writting songs for the follow up album.
