My name is Adymm Ender. I sing for Toronto's relentless EDEN ANTS & eat ketchup chips & enjoy playing with language. I also put on a bi-monthly indie rock/art showcase @ The Rivoli entitled POP WITH BRAINS, and can be spotted drinking Jack Daniels & Coke at random rock haunts. Songs that don't make the cut for my band make it here. This is a nursing home for B-sides. One day I will release these songs in Japan and make a million dollars. Then I will buy a cottage with impenetrable stone walls in northern Canada and die there in peace. My grave will read: "adymm ender - associated with happiness".
I was born in Montreal and am a proud libra. I like simplicity and attention to detail. I love vowels. I like watching old world war footage in fear and fascination. I dislike bad spelling and people that stand on escalators. I think that I am much tougher than I really am. I have never seen pulp fiction or godfather and don't want to. I am a picky eater but enjoy a good poutine. I find confidence & thighs very sexy -- "what fun it is to talk to an intelligent woman wearing stockings as she crosses her legs mid-conversation!" I like modern art & reading poetry & postmodernism & situationism. I want to run into my future dressed as a stranger on a random street corner. I collect vinyl records and like to go and try to find gems on sunday afternoons. I scribble ideas on pieces of paper that usually fall out of my back pocket, leaving a trail of poetry around town. I like to travel and have been as far north as Sweden, east as Poland, and south as Dominican Republic. I think most things are funny. I like to save the best for last.
My favorite artificial flavor is blueberry. I am afraid of the trans-Canada Highway 401. I like to say "so it goes" as much as I can. I like drinking scorching hot water. My smile makes some people uncomfortable. Women say "you're warm" to me when they are cold. I find most things funny. I am moody. I like to decipher the natural language of our culture a.k.a. shiny pleasures like detergent jingles & bubble-gum wrappers. My fav author is kurt vonnegut. The first album I ever loved was Madonna's True Blue. I collect emergency evacuation manuals from planes and trains. I am a lover of daylight & dense life and think we should enjoy these aimless days while we can. I love music especially david bowie, pulp, the clash, and one, leonard cohen, the doors, the dears, relaxed muscle, the ramones, belle & sebastian, iron maiden, abba, '77 punk, the strokes, franz ferdinand, and the velvet underground.
