My Interests

Night time. Moons. Going away. Ocean. Kissing. Music. Art. All the usual I-am-deep crap. But also!: Miniature golf. And other stuff that is less deep.

I'd like to meet:

A bunch of people who are dead now. Also, the people who put up that stupid ad on this thing for meeting "rich men and beautiful women", so I can punch them for their utter stupidity. Every single person who is a part of that business should be obliterated. I have a feeling this whole planet would be a much better place without them.

Music:

Ugh. What a stupid list. People who really love music have no room for a list. In my case, just remove gansta rap, modern country, and easy listening jazz and everything else is my favorite. href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.indi vidual &videoid=569659303"Stewies Music Review

Movies:

oh my god. i love movies. i can't possibly answer that question.

Television:

I don't have cable. I have Netflix: Arrested Development, Lost, Gilmore Girls, Alias, ....X-Files... (YES, I'm a dork), and many many others.

Books:

Yes, please. More of that. Anything that involves tastefully constructed sentences peppered with intrigue and a genuine love for the sounds that roll off tongues.

Heroes:

Artists, writers, musicians, and revolutionaries. People who are genuinely funny. People who are genuinely not assholes.

left wing talk radio

Today at work I was listening to the crazy left wing radio I love so much (I mean, really, it's in all of us forward-thinkers to have a bit of that extreme-ness) and was laughing along when the host a...

Okay, fine. A REAL happy list.

A list of things that make me happy: 1) First rains. 2) Yogurt with its fat still in. 3) Epic sunsets that appear out of nowhere. 4) The way a boy smells sweet in the morning when you wake up next to...

forgetting would be nice

There's nothing worse than caring about people.  It makes it hard to go blindly about wasting well-earned time on yourself and only yourself.  It makes it hard to fall asleep at night. ...

A world of ninnies

There was an article in Bust magazine about natural childbirth vs. non, and how C-sections are on the rise.  It discussed the unfortunate dynamic between doctors and mothers-to-be, and how they'v...

if someone sang "you were born a mystery / you're the prayer inside me" to you, complete with harmony and melancholic slide guitar, would you not want to marry them on the spot (or at least shag them)...
