Welcome to my page. I kept this space pretty much blank when it came to describing myself,
but here is a pretty good idea of what I’m about.
I was born in northern Portugal….and saw Spain through the front windows of our home there.
As a kid, that alone is something I completely took for granted back then.
90% of my entire family is still there. My school consisted of two classrooms.
There was one main road in the entire town. The houses were big and beautifully built, all with Spanish Tile roofing.
These are things that stand out in my mind a lot at times…
I came here with my parents and younger brother in 1992 not knowing a word of English.
We first moved to Mount Vernon, NY and a few years later to Yonkers, NY.Everything was pretty much normal living at home.
My mom was and still is a Baker at one of the biggest Dairies in the States, and my father a Construction Foreman.
In JHS I studied Drama and in HS I studied Architecture, while doing small modeling, acting and pageant gigs on the side.
That ended quickly due to an overly-jealous bf at the time. A mistake I will always wish I had not made…
Once I graduated HS, I studied Fashion Marketing and Merchandising.
On my second year of College in late 2002, in short, my parents split.
Because my mom and I could not afford school on our own, and I couln't fit two jobs and do well in school,
I left college and continued working two jobs.
This was by far the most difficult time in my life. We went from everything to LITTERALLY nothing in a matter of days.
Then, I became severely depressed. All I’ll say about that is …scary…
I belived so much BS because i wanted to hear it... because it sounded good, I trusted people that normally...
I would have never even taken half seriously.
I’ll always be proud to say I got myself up and out of depression by myself. I have much thicker skin than people think.
I have been through more in life than some can imagine, a lot more than what I briefly touched on here…
It got to the point where earlier 2006, I was at the line of complete disgust for guys.
About to give up, fed up, messed up, and pissed off.
And then came Vic. After 3 weeks of refusing to talk to him over the phone because I distrusted guys so much, I gave in.
And thank God I did. He is my life.
We knew we were getting married by the end of our first date. Simply true soulmates.
And to the guys that lied to me and played me for dumb….your loss. Period.
