I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My love of fishing started with wading in the Galena River on dad’s farm in Northwestern Illinois and catching carp, suckers, redhorse, catfish, and anything else that would bite a night crawler. As I grew a little older, my attention turned to our river’s many hard charging smallmouth and a bass fishing addict was born. Through high school and college, I fished every possible free minute for bass on IL lakes and the Mississippi River. After college, I worked several sales positions for GE and Newell Rubbermaid in Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago. My addiction for bass grew, fishing most of the lakes from central Wisconsin to southern IL and winning local and regional tournaments on lakes like Madison Chain and Okauchee in WI and Mill Creek in IL.

I first fished Lake Fork while on a spring break trip in college. After reading for years about it in magazines, Fork lived up to the hype on my first visit. At that moment, I vowed I would move to Texas and guide on Lake Fork and fish for a living as soon as I saved up enough money to make the change. In 1999, I moved to Texas. And here I am, fishing full time as a bass guide on Lake Fork and fishing as a pro in the FLW Tour. I live near Lake Fork on the fringes of Dallas in Royse City, along with my wife and 3 year old son.
As a guide, my mission is to help you learn the skills to catch lots of big fish on Lake Fork—skills that will also help you catch more and bigger fish on your home lake and any other lakes you fish. In addition, I will focus my efforts on your goals for our trip—whether you want to learn a new technique, find fish for an upcoming tournament, learn the current patterns for a week’s visit to Fork, or just have an enjoyable day with friends, family or a client.
Services offered:
*Specializing in teaching the science and patterns of Trophy Bass Fishing
*Contour map and fishing electronics interpretation
*Instructional Techniques to help you catch more and bigger fish on Lake Fork and your home lake
*Pre-fishing for upcoming tournaments
*Seasonal Pattern Fishing
