About Me

So I'm back from Death Valley (Not the esteemed football field that we all know and love so much, but the actual desert) and having fun hanging out in G-Vegas. I'm writing my stupid thesis and just wishing it would finish itself. I'm loving the trees, rain, ice cream, vegetation and humidity that we have here though. It only took five weeks of 125 degree weather to convince me that the desert was not for me. I had a great time though. I was working in an historic house museum known as Scotty's Castle where we were doing an overall preventive conservation treatment and assessment. Yeah basically that gibber gabber is a nice way of saying we were cleaning very very carefully. I got to see some awesome ghost towns, jackrabbits and burros. I also met some great people. I highly recommend Death Valley in the winter though. Otherwise you'll just have to spend your whole time in the pool. My Interests

Okay interests are weird because I have a lot-maybe too many but the latest is the Mamiya 7, the Metropolitan Museum, FIT, Investment for profit and lastly excellent exchange rates, where I could spend most of my time layin' out on the beach...with Randy Pace :) ..

I'd like to meet:

Artists, the anti-established, anyone who likes to have a good laugh, anyone who owns more that five pairs of tights and lastly anyone who owns less than 3.5 suits---Wow I'm totally segregating by the closet..

Music:

Radiohead, Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Keen, PJ Harvey, She Wants Revenge, Assorted Garth Brooks, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Johnny Cash, Weird French Music, the occasional rap medley and of course my good friends the Ms. Fits...wait is that how you spell it? ..

Movies:

Empire Records, Dazed and Confused, Reality Bites, Garden State, The Flinstones meet the Jetsons, The chipmunks movie where they go around the world on the balloons...hmmm what else..All About my Mother..in Espanol and the assorted romantic comedies, such as the wedding planner...etc. he-he ..

Television:

Captain Caveman, Grey's Anatomy, Cow and Chicken, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, The Young and the Restless, America's next top model, Project Runway, Ugly Betty, Men in Trees and yes I only have 3.5 channels on a good day. ..

Books:

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. everything, Michael Crichton-everything, Catcher in the Rye, British Literature and Harry Potter:) Dylan Thomas also makes me happy ..
