The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

About Me

About me. What an open question. How do I encompass everything just here in a little blurb. So, who am I...I'm me. I love music, I love to dance, I love to eat...basically I have a voracious appetite for life. I'm constantly searching within myself for answers to my questions on life. I believe that one must understand oneself before trying to understand or really help others. I delight in placing myself out of the box in situations where I will not know the answer. I have a hard time asking for help, I think I can do everything on my own. I don't want sympathy or anyone's pity - I do want compassion and someone to say once in a while that yes, I do understand you, even if I can't help you. I surround myself with my friends. They are the core of my life and it is because of their love and support that I feel like I am free to do as I will and be who I am. I'm loyal and loving and will help you in almost anything you ask. I see the world through my own eyes and though I realize I wont be able to change it within my lifetime, I sure can get the ball rolling. .. There is nothing like dream to create the future. Utopia to-day, flesh and blood tomorrow. Victor Hugo

My Interests

Reading, writing, exploring Old Europe, arguing religion with friends, analyzing a new book or a controversial movie with an original thinker, discovering a playground with my nephews, and recording a sunset from a different location every day.

You Belong in Dublin
Friendly and down to earth, you want to enjoy Europe without snobbery or pretensions.
You're the perfect person to go wild on a pub crawl... or enjoy a quiet bike ride through the old part of town. What European City Do You Belong In?

I'd like to meet:

someone who doesn't damn me for my choices in life

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. Sir Winston Churchill
