I am Remeeraz, I thought up this name in '95 as a unique net name and so far - it's still unique! I am an individual music artist, addicted to my music room. I have been writing music since '95, using an assortment of different programs. Lower End programs I might add as it's not easy to justify to others lashing out on a really expensive program!
It all started with a simple music tracking program using sample's which I then synthesized to aquire the full range of notes. Back then the quality of my music wasn't all that to be desired but the actual music was written from my heart and soul and the instruments carried me away to a dreamy world when I listened to them myself.
Over the years I've begun creating more and more higher quality music using a range of different programs and as they got better, my music got better.Unfortunately over the past few years there have been some serious complications in life and my confidence took a hell of a hit. I still get ideas and record them, but never am I totally happy with what I produce because of limitations in my own equipment.
Two of the tracks on this site, were not supposed to be uploaded as they had not been finished. The singing is terrible and was literally recorded so that I didn't forget the idea, but it was uploaded and this site constructed by someone other than myself. I won't mention any names...
Nevermind though, they're up here now, so sod it, I'll leave them cause some people like them as they are anyway. (I'm not pleased with them myself and as a rule, don't normally release anything to the public untill I am more than 88% happy).
The tracks that I'm talking about are "Miles away from you" and "End of Summer" so be leanient with your judgment! I know it's a tough world out there but I only do this a s a hobby.
I used to DJ for the Plymouth Fetish Club when it was around and when their venue used to be at the Plymouth Brettonside Bus Station. It's probably not something you would necessarily be proud of, but I am. It was an experience, and I was always safely in my DJ booth!
I just make music as my hobby, and I play every instrument you hear myself with the aid of an X-Board61, a Korg X5DR and some really cool programs and soft Synths! Yes, I can play a large assortment of instruments for real too but don't own any and can't afford to buy them.
Haven't done any music writing for the past year because of a new addition to the family (who is taking up all our time) and a rather nasty back problem, but I will continue to do so as soon as I get the chance.
Update - 22nd June 2009
I have just upladed (on the 19th) a new track, "June's Symphony". I have been working on this on and off over the past fortnight for an acummulated time of 5 days, capturing my most recent emotions and portraying them in this piece. It's good to know that I can still do it. Haven't written anything serious for around 5 years so enjoy, and if you like it, Leave me a message or comment. :)
