I am a big classic VW nut, and collect die cast bugs, busses & Karman ghias. I also enjoy driving the real deal and have 2 of my own
Daisy is a 1979 convertible, my dream car for as long as I wanted one has always been a metalic blue convertible VW Bug and I recieved her for my 21st birthday. My Dad and I had been looking online at bugs and had seen a few that interested us, so on weekends we'd take road trips to various places to visit these cars. Well one day we were driving back from a disapointing trip and passed buy a car lot with 2 or 3 VW Bug sedans for sale so we stopped to take a look, it was dark but there were a couple of lights on the lot. Hidden in the corner in a huge puddle was Daisy my metalic blue 79 Bug convertible. I fell hard for this car. I was so happy. The picture above is the very day we picked her up and took her home.
& Ruby, she is a 1966 sedan. She goes like a rocket!! Ty got her for me for a steal from a neighbour who was moving away and needed to unload vehicles.
I love the seaside any seaside I'm not particular, My family is from a small seaside town in England so I feel very "at home" by the sea (especially in bad weather lol which there is not much of out here).
