Après une première partie de carrière placée sous le signe de la Fusion électrique, ponctuée de 3 albums solo entre 1996 et 2002, Cyril change de voie et d'instruments en se consacrant à la guitare nylon. Changement de technique également, se spécialisant dans le jeu aux doigts afin de pouvoir s'exprimer totalement.
