Thembi

15 year old Thembi is an awesome singer. Her voice has a special velvet timbre, smooth and actually quite mature for her age. She started singing with her two sisters: older sister Nongoma(her mentor) and younger sister Nandi back in Zurich, Switzerland where they lived for 9 years. Born in Zimbabwe, of a Ndebele musician father and a Zulu singer mum from Pietermaritzburg, Thembi was blessed with music in the family. Her voice adds that special spice to all the works she does, be it with Day By Day, or with her sister in their gospel duet. Soft -spoken yet an awesome dancer, Thembi shines best on stage... a spectacle to watch, a jaw-dropper. A very athletic girl, Thembi is a prolific sprinter. She also is a good swimmer and martial artist. She is in the 10th grade in Johannesburg South Africa.
