DSM originally formed in 1983 as DAS SCHWARZ MILITAR with minimal drums, bass and effects - one release tape DSM 001 and two gigs. Project put on hold 1984.........Project restarted in 1989 as DIGITAL SYSTEM MECHANISM - C64, Amiga, tape loops, sampler - one release tape NA002 - Noize Anoize - one gig. Project put on hold 1990...........Project restarted 1993 - Akai sampler, Amiga, synths, bass, drum machine - Various Dance releases under pseudonyms. No gigs . Project put on hold 1996 ..............Project restarted 2007 - as DSM v07 Amiga, PC, Boredom, Frustration and a deep hatred of the the former Blackburn Council Administration run by misfits under the guise of New Labour socialists who had their own aims in inflicting their utopian egoistic fantasy's on the working classes, for profit , ego and vote gains. Blackburn a place where democracy failed because of postal vote rigging who's instigators were defended by the labour leadership..........2008- Now the project is based in Perth , Western Australia and named DSM 0Z ............................................................ ...."It is better to vent the anger through the artistic medium of music than by the use of petrol bombs, although not as rewarding".
