I want to meet people who are genuine and down to earth. I'm pretty straight forward, so I really have no time or patience for fake, phony, or plastic people.
I love people who love music....those who feel it inside....the ones who can barely sit still when the music has a good beat....the ones who turn up the radio.
I love people with imagination....those who sometimes want to escape the reality of reality and enjoy a good flight of fantasy. I love people who love the literary and performing arts in all their many forms....books, poetry, movies, television, stage, theater....whatever suits the moment.
I love people who care enough to have opinions....and expect you to have one, too. I love people who are sure of themselves and expect you to be as you are.
I love people who understand my meaning when I say, "the sound of rolling thunder..."
I'm the kind of person who is "Semper Fi"....who believes they should stand up and be counted....who will stand with their family and friends....who believes they should say something when it's the right thing to do. This gets me in trouble sometimes, but that's ok....it's me with whom I have to live.
I love people who have passion....people who feel....people who aren't afraid to learn or change their minds....people who live, love, and laugh. I love life's drivers. The passengers or those along just for the ride....uhmmm....not so much.

So many thoughts have come to mind…..if typewriters were still in use, I would be surrounded now by piles of paper wadded up and cast aside as I sit here struggling to find the right words. Those elusive words that can adequately convey to you the extraordinary effect your creation, Moonlight, has had on so many. So many more people than you can ever imagine.
The written word….it builds nations; it rips nations and brothers apart. It has recorded humanity’s ages old journey; it is a key that unlocks the gateway to our future. It can make us laugh until we are breathless then, in the very next instant, evoke tears of sorrow or joy. It is as powerful as a statesman and as delicate as a flower. The written word....power and beauty....science and art....imagery and truth. Your child is a brilliant example of the power the written word has over us and the beauty we find in its eloquence.
Moonlight is thoughtfully written, skillfully directed, insightfully acted, and artiscally staged. But far beyond the scope of vampires and blood, Moonlight teaches fundamental lessons about the human spirit and the will to rise above adversity. It teaches lessons about courage and compassion; hope and trust; tenderness and strength. Moonlight teaches that character is not out of style and romance is not dead. For these many lessons, I gratefully say, thank you.
