About Me
Dancing is my passion! When I discovered ballroom dancing, I instantly fell in love with the beauty, style and elegance of all the various dances. Samba is my favorite dance; it is elegant, sophisticated, rhythmic, but sexy, its diversity appeals to me. Despite my fondness for ballroom dancing, I hold a high regard for ballet. I believe that it is simply the most beautiful form of dance. Currently, I am cross training in multiple disciplines of dance. I am training in ballet, both major forms of ballroom dancing, which include American and International styles, and also in street/social forms, such as West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. My goal is to incorporate dancing into my life on a full time basis; however, I am not yet sure how that will happen. I believe that dancing is a remarkable way to break down walls and bring people together. Dancing is an amazing vehicle for me to express myself and whatever emotion I am feeling. When I dance the only thing I know is bliss. I cannot be mad, sad, depressed or angry…nothing negative exists. Overall, my enthusiasm for the performing arts is powerful.....I am drawn to it naturally; it’s as if I have no control over that attraction. Despite my deep love for dancing, I do appreciate and take pleasure in many other aspects of life. I have a curious nature and love to explore the new or unknown. I love learning about different cultures and people, their loves, beliefs, and devotions. I have a range of interests and enjoy almost everything life has to offer. I am happiest where there is action. I thrive on provoking conversations, find intellectuals and creative people insanely attractive and hold a soft spot for good old-fashioned romance.
