My Interests

Music:

Member Since: 21/10/2007
Band Members: There's only me. A one-man band. It's a bit of a con really....
Influences:

I grew up with this record collection;

1) A box of 78s, featuring people like The Ink Spots, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman...

2) LPs of popular classics - usual suspects.

3) A stack of 1960s singles, like Beatles, Stones, Animals, Nashville Teens, Mojos, Dennisons, Bob Dylan, Manfred Mann.

4) A clutch of great "singer-guitarist" type albums, such as Tim Buckley’s "Lorca", Van Morrison’s "Astral Weeks", Roy Harper’s "Folkjokeopus" and "Stormcock", Nick Drake’s "Five Leaves Left", Bob Dylan’s "Blonde on Blonde", "Paul Simon", Donovan’s "Universal Soldier", Melanie Safka’s "Gather Me", Joni Mitchell’s "Clouds".

Sounds Like: ... a good idea
