Randall Joseph "Randy" Johnson
Randall "Randy" Joseph Johnson, 23, passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 in a Lake Charles hospital.
A life resident of Lake Charles, Randy attended S. J. Welsh and Barbe where he played football. He was a former employee of Autoplex 2000 and worked with a sub contractor service. He was a mechanic and carpenter working in construction a number of years. He was of the catholic faith.
Survivors include his parents, Greg and Ella Johnson; fiancé, Ashley Grimmett; daughter, Keauna Johnson; step daughter, Alyssa Grimmett; brothers, Aaron Johnson, Brice Johnson; grandparents, Gennieve and Euclide Lognion, Leary and Howard Murphy; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.
His grandfathers, Anthony Johnson and Wallace Ogea, preceded him in death.
His funeral was at 11 am, Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father Joseph McGrath will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation was at Johnson Funeral Home from 5 until 9 pm, Monday with a 7 pm Rosary and from 8 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday.
Randy gave the gift of life -- he was an organ donor.
