Ocean State Scene

I'm Tired of constantly hearing the scene in providence is dead....time after time it I see people playing in front of 8 people....now don't get me wrong, most of the time these bands aren't very good at all, but sometimes they are good.
The scene isn't dead it's just tired of possibly the quality that is common these days...
There are so many bands playing out in Providence that don't offer quality music or maybe have good ideas but can't convey them well live through their musical sound.
That's where we help!
There are bands out there that I see from time to time that are interestingly good but perhaps play around locally too frequent which as most bands know thins out your attendance.
Then there are bands that pack a club and show us how it should be done. There are clubs in Providence that most people have never set foot in and there are those that are 5 minutes from providence but don't get recognized as part of the scene by fans and people hoping to walk into a palce and catch a good band.
So we take these above places and try to expose them to you and anybody we can through use of whatever video cameras we can. As time passes and with the help of what could be a growing effort this could be a really helpful organization in exposing your club or band...but do keep in mind it is restricted to personal opnions on what bands and clubs will be focused on in our limited time...so be a good band and kiss our ass and maybe you'll be focused more by us...but overall quality is going to try to be mantained...so that means if your band sucks but you buy us beers all night I still shoudn't be putting you up here.

Having great videos of your band may generate a considerable amount of traffic to this site which equals in sharing exposure with other bands so please don;t embed the video on your band site if can be avoided but instead provide a clickable link to the video, need the html to make one just ask.
