Tito Puente Jr. will be star in the allegorical story of the plight of homeliness in New York, based on gentrification and the bias attitude towards an ex-felon who tries to get a simple job mopping floors. Production is set to begin on January 19th in and around Long Island.Starring alongside Puente are co-writer Shamsul Alam and Christian Rosa. Shamsul Alam is a an award-winning writer having received the Five Villager Award, Bronx Brio Award, McDonald Award, The Pen American Award and others. He has also two produced films Impact 1991 and Purple Paradise He sometimes goes by the alias Santo Alam and appeared opposite Sylvester Stallone in Night Hawks. Chrisitian Rosa his first acting debut in Post Mortem Confessions at the age of 9 years old. Christian has also starred in Beyond The Rubble, Once Upon A Time En El Barrio,Lin Fu and Happy House a sitcom that is being considered by one of the major networks.Taino Rosa Productions founder, Emilio Rosa a long-standing member of the famed Family Repertory Theatre will be directing The Sun Shines On The Other Side Of The. He has appeared in numerous plays including Throwdown an award winning play, The Marriage Proposal. He toured with the Broadway Play Short Eyes, A Rose In Spanish Harlem and Zookeeper.
