I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm Mel, I was born and live in Cornwall. I'm 28, I have close family and friends and in 2000 my life changed. I met my husband Gavin who I married 3 years later. We live in our own home and have a 2 year old son called Archie. We moved last september to a village where they have good schools and nice homes so we could be in the Cornish countryside (where yes, tractors make a regular apperance. There was one parked outside the pub the other day!!!). I was vegetarian, had been since I was born, until the beginning of this year when I decided to eat fish. It was something I always wondered about and decided life was too short! I do love animals though and I am very close to my 4yr old westie Loki and white dwarf rabbit Louie. As a person, I believe massively in everyone being treated equal, and making sure the people you love know how much they mean to you. I have a stupid sense of humour, falling over makes me laugh. I've been described as bubbly, witty, tall and kooky. I always think of myself as lucky. Years ago, I never would have guessed I have the life I have now. I'm married to a man who completely "gets me". We always describe what we have as movie love. Corney I know but that's what describes it best. Just meant to be. My son is the most beautiful boy in the world. He has great character and smiles every minute of the day! I have a house I love. It's a place we can grow old in. So most of all, I am thankful.
