About Me

We are SYD BOZKO an unsigned melodic indie-rock band hailing from Manchester.

Established in August 2007, we launched ourselves onto the giging circuit just over a year ago. In March 2008, we played only our 4th live gig and beat several well established un-signed Manchester bands to the YGG Irish Festival 2008 title.
Throughout 2008 we have built up a supportive fan base which has helped us headline many Manchester venues, including our most recent, a 'sold out' headline slot at Manchester's Academy 3 in April.
2009 will bring bigger and better things for Syd Bozko, more gigs are planned in cities around the North West and new material will be unveilled towards the end of the summer. With the music and support we have, we aim to go far!!! SYD BOZKO
PRESS CUTTINGS 'Winners Syd Bozko'. The event organiser James Hennigan said 'Syd Bozko were great live, the crowd and the judges loved them, they really know how to work a crowd.” -'Boddingtons Manchester Irish Festival YGG Unsigned 2008'
Syd Bozko a band to watch out for, after only playing a hand full of gigs the band entered and went on to win the YGG Irish National festival. Recently the band also got their first airplay on XFM Manchester with Clint Boon. - 'Glasswerk National - Hide and Seek Festival'
