About Me

LOVE IT!A very wise father recently told me, "Emily, in this world there are hunters and there are gatherers. You need to stop hunting and start gathering".

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

Jesus. Anything having to do with the outdoors. Conquering fears. Travelling the world (2/3 there!). Understanding languages and cultures. Being globally-minded. Africa. Being a science nerd (reading medical dictionaries for fun). Embracing my Italian side. Swimming, skinnydipping, anything having to do with water. Fair Trade coffee shops and comfy bookstores. Deep thoughts. Dirty humor jokes. A great porter. Girls night out. Dance parties in the kitchen. Being single and spontaneous. Embracing life. My family. Understanding God's grace, love, and power and what that truly looks like in my life.Random moments make me smile: - Roadtrip to Cali when I get pulled over on the grapevine and my best friend started laughing whn the cop asked if I should get a ticket. - Smoking cigars in Spain. - Spontaneously hopping in the car and driving to Montana to camp. - Watching the sunsets while worshipping with the Summer Staff at Malibu. - Piling 7 people and all of our luggage into an old Benz and driving through fields of marijuana in Morocco for 5 hours without stopping. - Being in the honeymoon suite with a view of the Colosseum in Rome. - Brisk morning walks at Wildhorse Canyon. - Wine tasting with my family (and the random car dealer that was over). - Reunions with the Klahaya girls. - "Only in Kosovo at 3AM...". - Bartering with Turkish men at the Spice Bazaar in Istanbul. - Climbing Mt. Shuksan. - River rafting one of the worlds best rivers in Costa Rica. - Rowing in Cincinnati -- the most peaceful times of that year. - Paragliding the Oludeniz coast in Turkey. - Making homebrew with Dad. - Laughing uncontrollably with my sisters in Hawaii.
