I grew up in a quaint, little town in West Virginia. (Not so quaint anymore; its just one big sub-division). I attended a parochial school during my Jr. High School years, but came back to the local High School to finish. After graduating high school, I attended to West Virginia University. There I received my BS in Forest Management. After college I worked a few odd jobs, one of which was selling jock straps. But after nearly year of that, I knew it was time to put my formal education to work. I became the county forester, first in the “Land of Lincoln” and then in Kanawha County. It was in this stage of my life when I met a beautiful woman Two-Step dancin' and eventually married her. I lost her to cancer a few short years later. Since that time I inherited a cat that is mean, surly, and loathes dogs.

I moved to St. Paul, MN about 2 years ago. I’m still doing the “Smokey Bear” thing, just in a different location. I'm still gregarious with an eye on new horizons and adventures. Well enough of that where I came from & what I’m doing….

What makes me tick…. I think Fall & Winter are the prettiest times of the year. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment demanding chicken wings be included as one of the basic food groups. I feel purple is the best color ever. I think the # 4 is the greatest of all numerals. And also concur with many of the thoughts and believes of Crash Davis, “…. I believe in the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days.”
