With a blend of melodic rock and heavy hitting rhythms, the Jacksonville, NC band has been going strong since 2004, opening up for such acts as Ill Nino, Atreyu, Dope, Mushroomhead, Flaw, Silent Civilian, Egypt Central, In This Moment, Trust Company, Rev Theory and Crossbreed. Jeffrey Nothing, frontman for Mushroomhead, took a liking to Foundry in late 2006 and invited Foundry to play Mushroomhead's homecoming show in Cleveland, OH before Thanksgiving. Since then, the vocals of Ben Cardona, along with drummer Will Morton, bassist Tony Suarez, guitarist Jeremy Humphrey, and guitarist Dustin Boney, have made the band into what you hear today. Citing such influences as Sevendust, System of A Down, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, Atreyu, and Avenged Sevenfold, Foundry considers their sound a masterpiece of metallic harmony, pushing their unique sound toward mainstream success.
