About Me
I was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA by loving parents that have been married for 60+ years (something unheard of these days). I have two brothers and two sisters, but have lost my closest sister Nancy to cancer. Growing up in Bethlehem was a great childhood, but a few years back I decided to travel out west to California. My original intent was to go to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of acting, but somehow ended up taking a detour to San Francisco. I loved the city so much I decided to stay there. It ended up being a great decision because that is where I met my partner Rik, of 6 years almost 7 (and counting), made one of my best friends ever, Larry, and adopted an incredibly cute female dog that I named Aska. The wonders and beauty of SF and the surrounding areas are impossible to describe in words, and there was always something to do...but as most people know, it is very costly and almost impossible to own your own home if your not making a six figure income...which I am not, yet. One of my biggest dreams (other than acting) is to build my own dream home, That reason along with losing my sister Nancy, having aging parents, and the current environment where I lived had Rik and I decide to move back east to where we could have a fighting chance of making a good life for ourselves. Since our move back, we have made wonderful new friends, Mary & Mike who own *Ostara in Bethlehem. Through *Ostara we made more great friends, Crystal, Jay, Maddy, John, Renee, Donna and Orain and many more, too many to mention...and of course I still have a few GREAT best friends from growing up here...Sharon, Brian, Donna, Jim and Todd. Rik currently runs the local Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of Harry Potter for Grown-Ups that meets monthly as well as teaching classes on Guided Meditation regularly at *Ostara in Bethlehem. Rik and I are currently living in a great apartment in Bethlehem with our Shar-Pei/Lab Aska...and we are currently saving for a down payment on our dream home, I am also again going to get back up on my feet and jump into the acting pool once again in NYC sometime very soon. Keep your fingers crossed!
