well lets see..i am the drummer for a band called RUINATION! i have been in only 1 band prior to this one. besides the little projects that i tryed starting in between, this is the one i have been most accomplished in. I love music, i love going to shows and supporting my fellow scene mates! i like meeting new people with the same love and devotion i have for music. ive meet alot of cool people during the past two years while being in the band! i have played with so many cool bands too!.if your wondering, i started playing drums when i was 12 years old! my grandmother bought me my first drum set. it was some cheap ass drum set!!.. a simple 5 pce with 1 cymble. i played for a few months and then i kinda lost intrest in drums. i just wanted to be a teenager and hang out with friends. and so years went by not even thinking about drums..by the time i was 23, i decided to get back into drums. and so i did! i went a bought a cheap 5 pce drum set for like $300. i got back into the basic beats and stuff like that, and of course i wanted to be in a metal band or start one so, i picked up a cheap double bass pedal! it was harder than i thought!! my left leg couldnt work for shit!!lol. so it took me awhile to get both legs workin together. keep in mind! (double bass is a ongoing learning proccess)!so after awhile i wanted to start jamming with other musicians, so it just so happend that the cable guy that was hooking up our cable that day was a guitar player! lol and then we hooked up and jammed for couple months..we tryed putting a band together (without any songs) lol..wich is the wrong thing to do. long story short things never workd out!. so then we kinda went our seprate ways.so, acouple months went by.. and then i hooked up with J-mac from 40odd magnate! he at the time, had just left the band or somthing like that...but he really had noting going on. so we get together and just started jamming. things went pretty well, we had a 3pce band and we wrote like 6 songs and played a handfull of shows all within a littler over a year!. thats where i relized that I LOVED THIS SHIT!!.. i loved being in front of people on stage and having a good time doing it. so then i said to myself im gonna give this my all..
well shotrtly after things kinda fell apart in the band! it just seemd that no one was really into it anymore, and that kinda put me in that mindframe also. so we went our seprate ways...but j is still my boy and always will be!so after like a year of not playing in a band i didnt give up..i bought my drum kit that i have now, and it was the best fucking investment i ever made!
a 7 pce double bass pearl export series! wine red w/black hardware!. eventually i bought more cymbles and stuff.so one day someone (dwr3k) contaced me on myspace and he told me that he had a band and that they were looking for a drummer, so i checkd out there stuff on the page. i liked what i was hearing! and then we fianally got me up there after learing a couple songs of theres, they wanted to hear me play! and so i went up to c-land and we jammed and they loved what they heard from me. so you can say that i was in the band by then! we got started right away, we praticed for like 3 weeks so i can learn all the songs, and bookd shows right after that. man i was doing what i wanted to do for a long time wich is play a bunch of shows with an awesome group of guys! we continously played shows through the whole summer and evan in the winter! we hookd up with some killer bands and been to really cool places out of state.the next summer we still were doing shows with our good friends that we have in the scene.and thats where im at now.. thats how i got to this point of where im at now adays!. we plan on writing new shit rocking the stage as much as we can!.i hope to see all you guys at our shows!!!
