Today Waynes songwriting is an exploration of, life events, constant change, introspection combined with a melody that takes you on a ride of easy listing to hard driving. As a producer songwriter musician he has learned to appreciate many genres of music from Bluegrass to today’s Country, Contemporary Christian to Rock, from a 10 second stinger that sticks in your mind for days to a melody of terrestrial strings that captures and makes you want to hold on for the ride. “That is what every songwriter aspires to do every time they put pen to paper, inspiration is a gift applying it to music is a process with the hope of achieving prosody”. The instruments Wayne enjoys to play are Guitar and keyboard. He has worked in numerous studios since the 80s as a writer, musician, and producer and had Commercial Success on Radio Internationally and TV. Today Wayne is enjoying time in the studio writing projects for Film, TV, and new and upcoming Artist. Wayne also enjoys writing with other songwriters like Stan Edwards, Bret Short, Wendy Short, Don Hall, Charles Cason, Tony Oliphant and many others. “Its always exciting when you create a new vibe or writing with someone that brings this new energy to the table and you tap into it and (Turn lose the Hounds and let the Hunt begin) after that it gets very interesting like crafting it into a form of Commercial value, recording , critiqueing, record again, Mix it, Master it for various media, its an ongoing endless process that sometimes works and sometimes not but for me its a joy”.
